- In my life I have been a movie projector operator, a lifeguard, a student trainee engineer, a dormitory counselor, a summer missionary, a boys camp counselor, a minister of education and music, an assistant pastor, an interim pastor, a pastor, a college professor of religion, a curriculum designer and editor of Bible study materials, a publishing manager, a staff specialist in religious publishing, a content manager for online sales, a new product development specialist, an adjunct professor, a hardware store salesman, and a retiree in that order. Through it all I also have been a husband, father, grandfather, writer, poet, preacher, and teacher while trying to be a deeply committed follower of Jesus Christ.
